A brightly coloured fish flies onto the sandy beach.
Early Morning
The Shoreline

A Deep Breath
Fearless
Determination
. . .
Unlike many of my kin that swim their lives through ocean and wave, I have been given wings. As I rise above the spray I glance the shoreline. For much of my life I have wondered what that place must be like as the sea pulls me back into its realm once more where the salt sea rushes through my gills.
Today, I leap into the unknown. A fish out of water, I gasp at the wonder of this new and undiscovered world.
